New Year’s holidays are a time when everyone wants to believe in miracles and magic. No matter how old you are, we all come from childhood. This is a great time to sum up last year and make plans for the future.
On December 19, Ukraine traditionally celebrates St. Nicholas Day. People worship the Wonderworker and always believe that he will help them in a difficult moment. Our ancestors called him “the father of orphans, widows and the poor.”
Most of all the holiday is awaited by children, because on this day, by tradition, they always find gifts from Nicholas under their pillows. By the way, who behaved badly during the year, then will receive a “hail.”
Since December 15, the Tsarske Selo restaurant has opened the residence of St. Nicholas, where young guests are greeted by a thematic photographic zone, gifts, festive atmosphere and, of course, St. Nicholas himself.
December 15 – together with Nicholas we will write letters and throw in a special box, paint Christmas cookies, study carols.
December 19 – celebrate and head over to the New Year holidays.
